Booking Terms and Conditions

  1. When making a booking, a deposit of 50% of the total rent (or the full rent if your booking is made within 45 days of your  arrival date) must be paid within 4 working days.  Your booking will be held on a provisional basis in the meantime.
  2. The balance of your rent must be paid 45 days before your arrival date.  Non payment by the due date will be treated as a cancellation of the holiday booking. If cancellation is covered by our Covid-19 policy we will refund or rebook your stay as set out in that policy. 
  3. Cancellation:100% refund for cancellation more than 60 days before your arrival date/check-in date.  50% refund for cancellations more than 30 days before arrival/check-in date.
  4. No more than 4 people may stay at the property.
  5. We do not accept pets, except guide and assistance dogs.
  6. The property must be used for personal domestic holiday use only and not for any commercial purposes.
  7. The cottage is strictly no smoking, you may smoke in the garden.  You must remove any cigarette butts and dispose of them safely.
  8. The property will be available from 16.00 hours on the day of your arrival and must be vacated not later than 9.30 hours on the day of your departure (local time).
  9. You must treat the house with proper care and not cause damage to the property or contents or annoyance or nuisance to those living nearby.  We do not take a deposit but reserve the right to charge for any damage to the property or contents.
  10. We shall not be liable for any temporary stoppage of services to the property, or any matter beyond our control; and in any event our liability at all times will be limited to the total rent paid for your booking.
  11. In exceptional circumstances if we have to cancel your booking, we will refund the holiday rental we receive and will have no further liability.
  12. When you make a booking you guarantee that you have the authority to accept and do accept on behalf of your party these terms and conditions.  A contract will exist as soon as you agree to these terms and we receive your deposit.
  13. In the unlikely event that you have an issue/problem during your holiday, you must inform us immediately, so that we can endeavour to put things right.  In the unlikely event of the issue/complaint not being resolved during your holiday please follow this up within 28 days of your return home by emailing info@albatrosscornwall.com
  14. Your specific passport and visa requirements and other immigration requirements are your responsibility.  We do not accept any responsibility if you cannot travel because you have not complied with any passport, visa or immigration requirements.
  15. This contract will be governed by English Law and we both agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the English Courts at all times.
