Albatross Cornwall Luxury holiday cottage set in the beautiful south Cornwall village of Flushing

Situated in the picturesque village of Flushing, this charming fisherman's cottage has been completely renovated in  2021 and is perfect for families and couples alike.  Set in the heart of Flushing with two pubs, a general store and ferry to Falmouth, plus only a little further on to the beach, it's ideal for those wanting everything within easy reach.

The cottage itself is ideal for four with two bedrooms and two bathrooms.  The kitchen has all the mod-cons with a dining table for 6 including everything you need for a picnic or bbq on the beach. The garden is west facing and a great place to soak up the sun or to eat alfresco, while the living room offers a cosy alternative for cooler evenings.

At the end of the road is the sea, where many congregate on a sunny evening for a drink at the Seven Stars overlooking the water.  A short walk through the village takes you to Flushing's sheltered beach and the coastal path to Mylor where there is a great cafe perfect for a spot of brunch, tea or cake.

Regular boats from Flushing pier can take you to Falmouth with connections to explore further afield, to enjoy the local restaurants or for watersports. If you'd prefer you're own ride, there are also water taxis which can zip you around the bay in no time (but you will need to book).

Flushing is also a great location to explore the rest of Cornwall with many National Trust properties, Cornish towns and walks on your door step.  Only a short drive and you can be wandering around St Ives and its many art galleries, surfing or walking along the North Coast or sampling the many restaurants in Porthleven.
